Here is some necessary information for the crews preparing for their shootings in Morocco.

Passport/Visa Requirements: You can consult this official page of the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the list of countries whose nationals are exempt from the visa of entry to Morocco. Check the list updated

Shooting Permit  — To film in Morocco, you need a filming permit, as Western Sahara has been administratively part of Moroccan territory since 1975. The permit is issued by the Moroccan government, which is based in Rabat, the capital of Morocco.

ATA carnet
You will need an ATA carnet for your audiovisual material. It is much easier to bring your material into Morocco legally as a temporary import. (This law does not apply to drones.)

Is he a Moroccan fixer?
Do you have a contact in Morocco? A fixer or production company who can apply for an official film permit on your behalf. It should be noted that you will need this official document to enter Morocco as long as you are a film crew visiting the country for work and not for tourism or other purposes.

Climate: The Mediterranean, becoming more extreme in the interior
Most of Morocco has a tropical, wet climate, which should come as no surprise considering that the northernmost tip of the country is only nine miles from Spain. The weather in many areas of Morocco—outside the arid desert in eastern Morocco near Merzouga—is essentially Mediterranean.

Tipping Guidelines
In restaurants, if a service charge has not been added, leave 20-30 dirhams or 10% of the bill. Tipping the bellhop 10-20 dirhams is reasonable.
